History: Long ago, before the time of shinobi; the time of samurai was style the most prominent characteristic of the world. The strength of the samurai had been matched with swordsmanship, different dojos for different styles; the powers of dojos trying to excel and master the arts of the sword came from different schools and thus roamed the lands to challenge other masters and find the true meaning of their lives. The glorious thrill of the samurai spirit within full swing.

Five masters of a different element that made up the world, the elements of water, fire, earth, lightning and wind. The power of these five were seen within this stand-off, two entire days went by, and not one person could defeat another, only exhaustion would allow them to leave into unconsciousness. After awakening, the warriors would begin to try and battle once more, however, after much battling, they would decide upon something much more worthwhile.

Each which followed the elements of the world, why not mix with each others styles to create a style of combat that could defeat all other styles. Though, some of the warriors would disagree, after contemplating, they would decide to try such an ordeal. The swordsmen would build enough money to make a school of their own, and after years of practice and developing and engineering the techniques. A style of great power would be created. Shuuren Kouyoryu or "Converging Elements Sword".

Years had gone by, and tests would be placed in order to develop a dojo that would only cater to those of promising aptitude and not take just anyone. The masters would all agree that, each student would carry on a piece of the sword style. Thus, it branched with the changing of nations, and has carried over that one master and one student may have learned the style in each nation. So that the style could remain undiluted.

Description: A kenjutsu based style, which utilizes many types of attack types, to overcome opponents. Using the stances (kata) of fire, water, wind, earth and lightning; the user is able to attack opponents with a changing number of battle patterns, depending on the use of which kata. With this, the sword style becomes more of a style of battle strategy, using that strategy to fight and attack the opponents they come across. Each element has a different style of battle, and thus is crucial to the users arsenal.

Fire kata is offensive, and overpowering strength; using the power of this style in order to blow through opponents defenses and to kill opponents with the least amount of effort from attacks. Water Kata is a style of which uses unpredictability and trickery to capture the opponent in a daze, that which can't be seen can not be defended against easily, and if done so, the user attacks with a trickery movement in order to slip past the defense, much like water creates cracks against the hardest surfaces to go within them. Wind kata is the use of flowing, flowing with the opponents and using the "breeze" to allow them to catch the opponent; bending yet not breaking under the pressure. Earth kata is a style where the user uses offense and defense at a balance and thus attack an opponent with the harmonization of both in order to give the best strategy in planning an attack front. Lightning kata is the ability to use overwhelming speed, attacking with such quickness that an instant cannot gratify the attacks overwhelming quickness, and thus is used to seal opponents with a fast blow.

All styles are used as one and with one as the all, it becomes a significantly powerful style for those who can master it. Creatively effective techniques can be made as well, in order to make the style much more useful, although they may not fall under the elemental categories depending on what they do. The style can also be enhanced with chakra for all blows.

Fire Kata:
Name: Hibashira (Pillar of Fire)
Type: Kenjutsu

Effects: A technique in which the user flicks the inside of the elbow forth, using the sword. This whips the sword forth as if it is being thrown, however, this is not the end, placing as much weight as possible on the tip of the blade, the users strike gains more force than the user actually has due to how the force is distributed and thus increases its power much further, downwardly striking the opponent with great force.

Effects: A technique where the user places the arms across holding the sword towards the side standing in position in order to attack the opponent. The user whips the arm forth, and then strikes with a powerful horizontal cleaving strike which can be amplified by the whipping motion of the sword, the attack is ferocious, and can be used to attack multiple opponents in one slash if the sword is long enough.

Effects:
The forward speed of the fall due to gravity, will greatly exceed their expectations, from there you gain extra acceleration, by using all of your physical strength, and achieve super acceleration, by doing this the force of gravity and your physical strength are combined with a rising sword attack, and by doing this, the technique seems extremely fast paced. Though, it is a linear move, incredibly straightforward; it is a technique which is exceptionally fast and used to take opponents off their guards.

Effects: The three step range, it's actually slower than the Shidensen, first the user falls forward, and using that moment, move diagonally forward of the enemy, second move using your moment as you fall sideways, suddenly cross you legs to create an unbalance stance, sudden change of direction, and simultaneously sudden acceleration, at such a close distance to your enemy, you switch from "forward" to "sideways", this sudden change in direction of movement, nobody will be able to follow it with ease, as it seemingly uses awkward stances to make the opponent think twice, the movement is like a streak or bolt of lightning and is fast.

Effects: A technique where, at the moment of your slash, you quickly switch the positions of your left and right hands, and suddenly alter, the trajectory of your sword, the change is instantaneous and if you're caught within it's range, it's impossible to block it without an incredibly quick reaction speed.

Effects: The user positions the sword for a slashing motion on top of the opponents sword. Tricking the opponent, you thrust the sword forth by changing the trajectory of the blade and/or switching the hands. The user then attacks with a slash once more after being in the opponents defenses and slashes them once more, causing a streaming three transitioning blow in order to cut or stab the opponent.

Effects: A two stage acceleration, born of the right arm and shoulder, that explodes forth from a false movement, and a change in the slash part the happens at the same time as the second acceleration. These techniques occur as if instantaneously, and thus can be considered extraordinarily fast. Careful positioning of the attack can be fatal towards the opponent, if they don't have skillful reflexes.

Effects: A technique where the user relaxes the body at one moment, waiting for an opponents counter attack, and then spins out of the way of the attack to close in and get into the opponents range. The attack is done immediately, flowing with the opponents rhythm and catching them off-guard leaving the opponent open for a counter-striking motion.

Effects: Is a technique that achieves a harmony of offense and defense, you start with a special high stance, then target and strike your enemy's weapon, in that instant when your weapon hits your opponent's weapon, you give your sword a sharp twist and add a sudden burst of speed to it's impact. Thereby not only destroying your opponent's weapon but also knocking it away (this doesn't go for weapons that can't be destroyed or have a much greater durability, though they can be knocked away, also the opponents own strength is dependent upon how hard the weapon is to knock away).

Effects: For this technique, you make an attack down, and from there, you extend your range by twisting your body and your neck while, at the same time making a cut from below your enemy, the shoulder blade dislodges, causing the arm to extend, thus making the opponent misjudge the trajectory of the strike. It's a high speed two stage slash. This technique is a give and take sort of move, for it is hard to counteract it under normal circumstances as it doesn't show movement from the stand point it starts. However, it does give a reasonable amount of intense pain to the shoulder and overuse can result in dislodging the shoulder under prolonged use.

Effects: It's a thrust where you focus your body weight and force created from turning your body into the tip of your sword, thereby multiplying the force and wounding power of the thrust several times over. The power becomes extraordinary, and thus can go through obstacles a slash or normal thrust can't go through and is considered a specialized technique.

Effects: An extremely powerful sword slash, that takes perfect use of coordination and power to use in synchronicity. The user takes on the tradition battou stance, and stays still towards the opponent, focusing the draw and explosively moving forth in one step, twisting the body with the drawing of the slash to increase the power of the technique by exceptional levels. This technique is able to cleave through many physical obstacles, including steel.

Effects: Unlike the sword variation, this technique only uses the palm, in which they attack with a powerful rotation of the hand in order to blow away the opponent with brute force and timed spinning rotation. Thus, it is a powerful and useful taijutsu technique.

Effects: A special movement technique used to get into the opponents range quickly and other useful advantages. The user takes forth a leap, moving towards the opponent with a clear across leap. The user then kicks the foot downward going into the ground with an accelerated movement from the air to the ground in an instant notion right before landing. Using this, the opponent can be caught off-guard by the the trick and thus it is a highly useful move.
