"GAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!" A small blue flame left Enjou's gaping mouth as he climbed up the steadily rising mountain. The flame was puny compared to Enjou's usual flames. His breathing was not the usual paced like it normally was. It was likely that Enjou wasn't doing well with the rise in elevation. He looked over to his new found rival and temporary companion.

Shimo Riba, or the Frozen Blueberry, was the other participant to his mission. They duked it out at the bounty post. It came out pretty even. Enjou respected the Blueberry for his skills and it seemed that the respect was mutual. Their mission was to hunt down some terrible mountain beast that would occasionally come down and attack the villages. This time of year it was resting in the mountains before the storms came that always got it in a violent mood.

Enjou had never fought any manner of beast larger than himself. He would normally say this was getting him fired up, but as they climbed the mountain he felt as though his weaknesses were getting more potent. He had never climbed a mountain other than the volcano back in Nokogakure. Perhaps he should have heeded some of the warnings of his fellow clansmen.

The sky was covered in a dense cloud cover. The clouds were borderline gray showing that they might be rain clouds. This worried Enjou as well. He could fight in the rain no problem, but it made it a little harder. The mountain they were climbing almost seemed like a plateau with a wooded area at the top with many streams and rivers running down. Surely this beast wasn't the only thing in there.

"Hey Frozen Blueberry, do you know anything about this beast or the area we're fighting in?"

Enjou frowned at Shimo's almost bubbly attitude. His bouncing around almost pissed Enjou off. Not because he was bouncing, but because he couldn't exactly do it as well. As the Frozen Blueberry hopped like a mountain goat up the rocky path to the top, Enjou was forced to make small leaps and climb most of the time. Higher altitudes were hell on someone whose whole form relied on fire and oxygen.

Out of breath and a bit frustrated, Enjou finally made it to the top and trudged over to Shimo. He glanced down into valley to see the massive beast. It looked like someone that shinobi summons would be afraid of. Like hell Enjou would be scared though.

He glanced over at Shimo as he began talking, "Well Enjou, buddy ol pal. Unless you've got a giant newspaper to smack that dog on the head with I'm sure we're in for one hell of a fight." Enjou might have appreciated the humor if he wasn't feeling so shitty right now. He just wanted to kick this things ass and bring something back to prove they whooped it. He knew that a good fight would bring his spirits up. "Any ideas pineapple head?"
