BACKGROUND:

Clan's name: Fuyu no ikari

Clan's biography: Fuyu no ikari is an advanced branch of the Hyouton clan that came into existence around the time Furogakure established itself as a hidden village in the ninja world. Seeing as how the Fuyu no ikari clan had superior control over their ice release techniques the new upstart clan began to slowly overwhelm their parent clan until only they were left as the only ice based clan in the frost village. All those from the Hyouton clan that couldn't reach the evolution of Fuyu no ikari were either frozen from the inside out for not being strong enough or simply killed for refusing to achieve it. With the purge of ice complete the Fuyu no Ikari clan have now taken their place as the reigning clan in Furogakure.

Passive traits/abilities:
Fuyu no eden wielders have two passive abilities in which are almost always active the first of which being and constant frigid aura of light blue chakra that reacts to the users emotional state becoming much colder and violently writhing about opposed to a much calmer state in which it feels like nothing more than a cold winter's day given the user has a calm demeanor. At it's worse the freezing blue aura can reach temperatures well into the negatives the coldest of which is about -50 F and spans a radius of about 5 feet in all directions of the Fuyu no eden user. The second passive ability of Fuyu no eden is that given the abundance of cold chakra that is constantly seeping from the user they can simply bypass the use of handsigns in all of their ice related jutsu due to it already being pre-molded.

Effects:Causes a rather large transparent dome of ice to quickly encase to user upon chakra assisted contact with a flat surface. The dome stands about 6 feet tall and about 6 feet in diameter. While the ice is rather brittle and can't stand against most ninjutsu it is primarily used as a defense against regular projectiles such as kunai and shuriken.

Effects: The user focuses their freezing chakra into either hand and releases it suddenly in the form of a blast of razor sharp shrapnel that explodes outward from the hand in which they chose at a rapid speed easily capable of piercing flesh at close enough range.

Effects: Allows wielder to send Icy spears shooting out of the ground on almost any surface by simply touching the ground with hands or feet and directing their freezing cold chakra wherever they see fit.

Effects: Allows the user to travel through any flat surface of ice that they themselves have made. This jutsu must be sustained each post to allow the user a means of escape and surprise attack as they slip in and out of their icy creations. If the ice they have taken refuge in is broken however they will be ejected from it harshly and unable to use this jutsu for one post.

Effects: The user slams their foot into the ground causing medium sized spikes of ice to burst from the ground in random directions making the use of speed related jutsu or attacks requiring speed almost impossible for the user and attacker.

Effects: thousands of tiny ice shards began to come from Rai's body and surround him for a few moments gathering a small amount of chakra from his body before bursting out into the air all around the area allowing him too feel any chakra the ice shards come in contact with but any thing that obstructs them allowing him to defend against sneak attacks from anywhere except directly underneath him. Follows him around within 15 yards as long as the jutsu stays activated.

Effects: This jutsu allows the user to give them self the painful sensation of a brain- freeze which allows then to snap out of genjutsu of B rank or lower. Users vision becomes blurred and movements become slowed for two posts after used.

Chakra cost: 10cp
Effects: The wielder of this jutsu uses both hands to target their opponent and launches two giant claws of frozen fury towards their opponents. Since the claws do not take on a physical manifestation the attack does not actually make contact with the enemy rather smashing them with unbearably cold temperature and freezing over any areas or body parts it came in contact with or close too. The claws are not entirely visible thus harder to dodge along with their ability to control their direction slightly

Effects: The user releases a freezing blizzard into the air all around the area within a 15 yard Diameter not only simulating the effects of the coldest mountain tops but also hindering the enemy greatly and icing the ground all around the area.
