Hina ran down the narrow path towards the near blinding light. Her legs screamed at her to take a break, but the shear fear of being caught by an unseen force propelled her forward. She had no way to see it, to hear it, to sense it. The thing was going to kill her and she had no way of knowing how or when. The light grew closer and closer, but as she neared her escape the creature struck, sticking a slim silver knife into her back. Hina just fell...

Hina opened her eyes and threw the blanket back. She was drenched in cold sweat from the terror of her sleep. She had never in her life been this afraid of anything, not since she was very young anyways. The thought of a person sneaking up on her whilst she slept or even a trained assassin coming from no where to strike her down bothered her. She loathed the very aspect of it, but she had to sleep for now. Once morning came she would tend to her most current issue.

The beams of the morning sun danced acrossed Hina's face gently waking her from slumber. Memories of the past night fueled a determination to find a solution. She figured she get started now and spend the day peicing together a jutsu. A few idea's swam through her mind, but she decided to attempt the first of them. First she imagined how it might work. A spider web of chakra, puppet strings to be precise. However the more she thought of it the less she liked it. Sure it would protect her and tell her when foes were near, but it would be still, absolutely stationary. No she needed something mobile something as free as the breeze itself so that it could follow her.

The breeze... The thought stuck with her and soon breeze became weather which became rain. What if she could connect herself with the very water molecules in the sky themselves. She would be able to feel anything they touched everything within the shower would be hers to detect. She decided that this idea was best, but how to go about it? Hina decided to first go with collecting the water into a form she could use. Easy enough. She activated the Water Prison techneique and the water condensed around her right arm in the form of a tight sphere. Ok done.

It was at this point that she needed to connect herself with the water. After a few moments of serious thought she decided that using the Puppetry techneique was best for this. Activating it, she focused it into her right hand letting the strings multiply and bind to the water. The moment of truth was upon her. Flining her arm skyward she let the jutsu go. For a few breif seconds water poured down upon her. Strangely she could feel the water whizzing downward, falling upon her, and then finnaly slamming onto the ground. It wasn't just the feeling of touch it was as if she had a sixth sense. Was this what sensory ninja felt?

She shook her head to clear her mind. The first step was complete. She could actually connect to the water and feel it as if their were another sense. The next part was to actually influence the weather. First she needed to for the water to condense much like it had with the water prison techneique and form clouds. She lifted her hand skyward once more and attempted to activate the Water Prison Jutsu, this time extending the range of it in a cone above her in the stratosphere. Her first attempt failed causing a large sphere to appear just above her. She canceld the jutsu allowing herself to be drenched by the waters of failure. Determination.

She sighed lifting her hand skyward and forcing her influence into the stratosphere once more. To her surprise clouds began to form and twist onto the location as she fed them water. Soon they bubbled and puffed forming heavy rain clouds. She had managed to create more clouds than she expected as the sun was blotted out by her storm. A drop of water fell from the darkened sky and soon others followed suit casuing a downpour to form all around her.

She laughed excitedly. She had actually influenced the weather! But she regained her composure activating the Puppetry jutsu next. She used the same method as before, but she found it extremely easy to do. The jutsu connected and it was only a few moments before she could feel everthing in the rain. Animals, Trees, Grass, Buildings... Buildings? Hina had no idea that a village was nearby. She ran in the direction of it hoping to find an umbrella for her use.

When she did arrive she found the people fleeing from the coming rain into their homes. The storm had followed her here. Would it always do that? She loved the idea of her own personal storm. Quickly she moved into a nearby shop that specialized in hidden weapons. She was surprised to find a shop in this area, but she didn't argue. She quickly found a swords neatly disguised as an umbrella and enjoyed the idea of the duel usage. She used the rest of her 'I can't beleive I saved a kid' money to purchase the conraption and briskly left. Opeing the umbrella up she stepped out into the storm ready for dark to fall, unafraid of what it might hold.
